Job description

OVERVIEW
iTech AG is seeking a ServiceNow System Administrator to support a federal program by administering, configuring, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform in a secure and compliant environment. This role focuses on day-to-day platform administration, user support, and basic configuration activities, ensuring the platform remains stable, performant, and aligned with federal and organizational standards.
The ideal candidate has foundational ServiceNow experience, a strong understanding of core platform administration, and the ability to work collaboratively within an Agile delivery environment. This position is well-suited for someone early in their ServiceNow career who is looking to grow their technical skills while supporting a mission-focused federal program.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform day-to-day ServiceNow system administration activities
  • Manage users, groups, roles, and access controls
  • Configure and maintain forms, lists, UI policies, and basic workflows
  • Support incident, request, change, and knowledge processes
  • Monitor system health and assist with basic troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Apply platform updates, patches, and configurations under guidance from senior team members
  • Support platform governance and configuration management processes
  • Assist with testing and validation of new features and enhancements
  • Document configurations, procedures, and standard operating processes
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies as part of the delivery team
  • Ensure platform activities align with federal security and compliance requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1–2 years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow core platform functionality
  • Experience managing users, roles, groups, and access controls
  • Familiarity with ITSM processes (Incident, Request, Change, Knowledge)
  • Ability to follow established platform standards and procedures
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a federal or regulated environment
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • ServiceNow CSA
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience supporting federal government programs
  • Familiarity with Agile or SAFe delivery environments
  • Exposure to ServiceNow reporting and dashboards
  • Basic scripting or configuration experience beyond out-of-the-box functionality
  • Strong desire to grow into advanced ServiceNow development or platform roles
