School: Dundee Elementary
BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic and dependable After-School Cheer amp; Dance Instructors to lead exciting cheerleading and dance enrichment programs for elementary-aged students at Dundee Elementary in Dundee, FL.
If you love cheer, dance, movement, and inspiring children through fun and engaging activities, we#39;d love to hear from you. Whether you#39;re a cheer coach, dance instructor, former cheerleader, teacher, college student, or someone with experience working with youth, this is a rewarding opportunity to help children stay active while building confidence and teamwork.
Position Details
- Part-time, after-school position
- Monday through Friday
- Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM
- 1.5-hour sessions
- $45 per session ($30 per hour)
- No weekends
- No lesson planning required
- Curriculum, music, and equipment provided

Responsibilities
- Lead engaging cheer and dance classes for elementary students
- Follow BBA#39;s structured curriculum and activities
- Teach age-appropriate cheer motions, basic dance techniques, rhythm, coordination, and teamwork
- Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
- Encourage confidence, creativity, and positive sportsmanship
- Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
Qualifications
- Cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, or coaching experience is preferred but not required
- Experience working with children is a plus
- Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
- Reliable transportation to Dundee Elementary in Dundee, FL
- Dependable and punctual
- Must successfully complete the required Polk County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process
