After School Assistant Site Directors work with elementary school-age children, daily, at our enrichment based program. If you are looking to join a fast growing, local company, making a positive impact, then this part time job may be for you! Convenient locations available in central & NW Austin.

Responsibilities of an After School Assistant Site Coordinator include, but are not limited to: Assisting Site Coordinator in daily managerial tasks on campus, filling in for After School Site Coordinator when needed, serving as a Lead Instructor on site, implementing and modeling instruction of daily activities in various enrichment classes, maintaining classroom management, monitoring and maintaining child safety on playground and during snack break, providing homework assistance, and actively implementing and engaging in daily activities with students.
Duties:
  • Implement iKids lesson plans & engage kids in various enrichment courses
  • Monitor and maintain child safety on playground, during activities and snack breaks
  • Provide homework assistance and actively engage with students
  • Maintain classroom management
  • Assist in organizing materials and a child-friendly space
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and parents
  • Support iKids mission to provide high quality enrichment, tutoring, and care
  • May lift 5-30 lbs; anticipate physical demands of a standard classroom and playground setting.
iKids U is seeking candidates that are energetic, engaging, dependable, flexible, and have 1+ year experience working with children in a group setting. Experience with children (like camps, coaching, teaching, group tutoring, workshops, child care, child development, teacher assistance, special education, child therapy, instructional assistance, and/or substitute teaching) is required. 
Must be able to work 5 weekday afternoons, Monday-Friday, from 2:30 - 6:00 PM (12-17 hours/week) and have reliable, independent transportation. Duration of schedule follows the Austin elementary school calendar August through May.
