Job description

KidsPeace National Centers of New England – Graham Lake Residential Program

Are you ready to make a lasting impact in the lives of youth?
KidsPeace is seeking dedicated team members for our Graham Lake Residential Program, supporting children with emotional and behavioral challenges in a structured, compassionate, and therapeutic environment.

What We Offer

  • Shift Differentials: $21/hour for overnight or Friday–Sunday full-time shifts

What You’ll Do

Residential Childcare Counselors

  • Supervise and support children in a therapeutic residential setting
  • Build positive relationships and help implement treatment plans
  • Maintain structure, consistency, and a safe environment
  • Complete documentation and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Residential Supervisors

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to childcare staff
  • Participate directly in the care and supervision of children
  • Support team development and reinforce program structure and safety
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure quality therapeutic care
  • Participate in treatment planning and ensure compliance with policies and procedures

Schedule Options

Afternoon/Evening Shifts (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)

  • Monday–Friday
  • Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday (includes a 12-hour weekend shift for a 4-day workweek)

Hybrid Weekend Option

  • Friday 2 PM–10 PM plus 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday

Hours and Benefits

  • Full-Time: 32 or 40 hours per week – both qualify for comprehensive benefits
  • Part-Time: Under 32 hours per week also available
  • Optional overtime opportunities available

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred for Supervisors)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Availability for one of the listed shifts (starting at 2 PM or later)
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for helping youth succeed
  • Must pass background checks and provide professional references
