*Lateral hires will receive 50% of the incentive when hired and 50% upon completion of the FTO program.
**New hires (Recruits) will receive 50% of the incentive when hired, 25% upon police academy graduation, and 25% upon completion of the FTO program.
***Employees who receive an incentive and voluntarily leave City employment prior to their third anniversary will be required to pay back the incentive.

Testing Dates & Schedule

• Written Test: By invitation only. Monday, August 31st, 2026. (casual/workout attire
• Physical Agility Test: By invitation only. Monday, August 31st, 2026
  • immediately following the written exam (with a score of 70% or higher). Click here to watch the course.
• Interactive Video Simulation Exercise & Panel Interview: Those who pass the written exam and physical agility test will move on and be scheduled for an interactive video simulation exercise and panel interview. These will begin the afternoon of August 31st and run through the rest of the week, as needed.
  • Priority will be given to those traveling from out of state.
