A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CIVIL PROGRAM MANAGER

A day in the life of a CEI Program Manager in Bentonville starts with a deep dive into national account metrics, where you review forecast data, track work-in-progress, and approve pre-billing forms and invoices to keep multi-project budgets tightly aligned. Mid-morning is spent cultivating strong client relationships-discussing upcoming scopes, pursuing new opportunities, and resolving any complaints in a way that balances client satisfaction with CEI's business goals. By early afternoon, you pivot to team collaboration and technical execution, meeting with civil engineers, surveyors, and landscape architects to guide design phases, align on Engineer of Record responsibilities, and push regulatory submittals through local review processes. You wrap up your day overseeing the construction pipeline by evaluating contractor bids, negotiating contracts, checking in on site monitoring, and adjusting project forecasts to ensure quality execution from initial concept through final delivery.
