Overall Objective

The Copywriter develops compelling, strategically driven messaging and content that strengthens brands, engages audiences, and supports client business objectives across traditional, digital, and social channels. Working closely with Art Directors and cross-functional creative teams, this role transforms ideas into impactful concepts and effective communications across a variety of platforms. The Copywriter combines strong writing skills, creative thinking, and attention to detail to deliver innovative work that aligns with brand standards and drives results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, compelling, and effective copy across a variety of media channels
  • Partner closely with Art Directors, designers, strategists, and account teams to create integrated creative concepts and campaigns.
  • Maintain client brand voice, messaging guidelines, and copy standards across all deliverables.
  • Create engaging content that aligns with strategic objectives, audience insights, and platform best practices.
  • Develop social-first copy and content while maintaining a strong understanding of platform specifications, trends, and audience behaviors.
  • Support the production of television, radio, video, and content projects through scriptwriting and creative collaboration.
  • Review and proofread creative materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and grammatical excellence.
  • Interpret client briefs and strategic direction to develop creative solutions that achieve business objectives.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and creative thinking to support agency growth and new business opportunities.
  • Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and industry partners while demonstrating a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications, journalism, English, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in an advertising agency, creative studio, social agency, content agency, or integrated marketing environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, copywriting excellence, storytelling ability, creative problem-solving, and results-driven work.
  • Experience writing across a variety of formats, including campaigns, social media, video, digital, print, radio, and long- and short-form content.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content specifications, audience engagement, and platform best practices.
  • Experience writing scripts for television, radio, video, and other multimedia content.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals and client success.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered writing tools, content creation platforms, and emerging technologies is a plus
