POSITION TITLE: Blaster/Painter Helper JOB CODE: BLSPRTHLP

DIVISION: Onshore/Offshore/International

REPORTS TO: Coatings Foreman

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

DEPARTMENT: Onshore/Offshore/International

POSITION SUMMARY

The Blaster/Painter Helper is responsible for assisting other employees in a safe manner at the Fabrication facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(This is a representative list of the duties the position may be asked to perform and is not intended to be all-inclusive.)

  • Assist other employees by performing various duties or tasks
  • Clean all blasting and painting equipment
  • Ensure that water coolers are filled as needed
  • Maintain clean working areas and practice good housekeeping
  • Clean and return tools and equipment to proper place after use
  • Obey and follow all safety rules and policies
  • Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE)
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • Basic level written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be reliable and have good time management skills
