First Defense Systems — Connecticut & Massachusetts


Pay: Uncapped Piece-Rate / Per-Device (Top performers earn $75,000–$100,000+ annually)


Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday | Flexible Afternoon Starts (12:00 PM – 6:00 PM)

Say goodbye to strict 7 AM start times and capped hourly wages—our piece-rate model rewards speed, precision, and quality service.


What You'll Do

  • Advanced Installations: Mount, configure, and integrate smart security panels, PoE/Wi-Fi cameras, smart locks, and thermostats for residential and commercial clients.
  • On-Site Upgrades: Conduct quick property walkthroughs to identify security gaps and recommend high-margin hardware upgrades directly to the client.
  • Network Integration: Connect panels, gateways, and IP devices to customer networks with clean wiring and reliable setups.
  • Client Onboarding: Activate monitoring services, demonstrate app controls, and deliver a smooth, high-end customer experience.

What You Bring

  • Security Experience: Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting burglary alarm systems (Alarm.com, ADT, or Google Nest experience preferred).
  • Low-Voltage & Networking Skills: Solid understanding of residential networking (PoE, routers, gateways) and clean low-voltage wire runs.
  • Professional Drive: Strong troubleshooting ability, clean customer-facing presence, and high attention to detail.
  • Requirements: Valid driver’s license, high school diploma (or equivalent), and a clean driving record. Background in electrical, HVAC, or trade school is a strong plus.
