South Jordan is a Fitness & Recreation Center located in South Jordan that includes a basketball gymnasium, turf field room, fitness room, dance room, aerobic room, walking track and indoor pool. Perks include flexible hours, a free center membership to employees, and a fun environment. We are looking for motivated and reliable people for the following areas:

♀ Aquatics Employment Opportunities ♀
  • Lifeguards (Age 15+)
    Early morning, mid-day, afternoon, and Sunday shifts available!
    How to Apply:Submit an application and email Yasi (ymojibian@saltlakecounty.gov). Please include the days and times you are available to work.
  • • Qualifications:
      • Must be 15 years of age or older
      • Successfully complete a swim skills test:
        • Tread water for 1 minute without using hands
        • Swim 100 yards continuously
        • Retrieve a 10-pound brick from a 6-foot depth using a feet-first surface dive
  • Group Swim Instructors (Age 16+)

Positions available for weekday and Saturday swim lessons.

      • Must be16 years of age or older
      • Pass a swim screening test
      • Enjoy working with children ages 3-17
      • Provide a safe and positive learning environment

Background Check Information
Due to the nature of some of these positions, the selected applicant must pass a required pre-employment background check in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements
TEMPORARY POSITIONS:
  • An "At Will", FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County benefits and who must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month.
