Position Summary:

As an intern on theEnterprise Advanced Analyticsteam at Securian Financial, you willleveragedata to drive business outcomes that align with Securian's Enterprise Vision and Operating Principles.You'llwork closely with business stakeholders to understand their business problems and apply a variety of data collection, analysis, visualization, and modeling techniques to address them.

You will gain valuable experience using industry standard tools and technologiesto cleanse, analyze andvisualize data - andapplyingthose skills to solvereal businessproblems.

Responsibilities will vary by role but could include:

*Analyzelarge quantitiesof structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datato createactionable models and insights that drive business outcomes.

*Communicateinsightsto business stakeholdersthrough data visualizationand presentations.

*Work with a variety of internal stakeholder groups to understand their business challenges and translate them into data scienceand analyticsproducts and solutions.

*Design and implement measurement and testing strategies.

*Translate business requirements to data collection strategies, in compliance with relevant governance and regulatory guidelines.

*Utilize GenAI tools to solve business problems such as comment/text analysis, data extraction, or summarization.

*Experience in R, Python, or related technologies.
