Job description

Rothman Orthopaedics is looking to hire a full time Healthcare Operations Data Analyst based in our Center City Philadelphia office! This is a hybrid position that requires two days a week onsite. 

Job Summary: 

The Healthcare Operations Data Analyst partners with operational leaders across ancillary and clinical departments to identify opportunities, measure key performance index, and drive operational improvement through analytics. The role will develop meaningful dashboards, performs operational analyses, translates business needs into data solutions, and provides actionable recommendations that improve patient access, provider productivity, and organizational efficiency.

Essential Duties:

  1. The Data Analyst role will work closely with the Data Science team, Ancillary team, Office managers and other stakeholders to support operational reporting and analysis needs
  2. Publish and/or present meaningful reports, updates and recommendations that will drive operational decision-making to stake holders
  3. Collaborate with the ancillary team to comprehend reporting requirements and devise strategies to fulfill any unmet needs
  4. Acting as a liaison between ancillary department and data science team within the enterprise to ensure and maintain data precision 
  5. Create concise documentation to detail strategic solutions and analyses
  6. Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare Administration or related quantitative field
  • 2-3 Years experience in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, operations analytics or related analytical role
  • Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, showcasing strong analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work with complex data with strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Healthcare industries
  • Experience in Tableau or PowerBI
  • Experience in SQL, Python/R or similar programming language
  • Familiarity with healthcare data
