Job Title: Data Analyst Location-Type: Hybrid, New York, NY 10019 Start Date: ASAP Duration: Contract, 6 months Compensation Range: $50-55/hr on W2  Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K Visa Sponsorship: Not eligible for visa sponsorship Job Description: The client is seeking a Digital Data Analyst to support a multi-year digital roadmap by delivering audience insights, UX analysis, and data-driven strategy across web, e-commerce, and an upcoming app launch. Job Summary •Analyze digital touchpoints including the client's website and store to identify audience behavior, user journeys, and conversion opportunities •Support opportunity sizing efforts to identify where and how the organization can grow its digital presence and reach new audiences •Establish tracking frameworks and analytics infrastructure in preparation for an upcoming app launch •Serve as the primary analyst on the app project from pre-launch strategy through rollout, capturing success metrics and learnings •Blend digital and marketing analytics to evaluate funnel acquisition, audience engagement, and intervention points throughout the user journey •Deliver findings to cross-functional stakeholders including senior leadership, translating complex data into approachable, actionable insights •Demonstrate autonomy and initiative in a small team environment, operating across digital, retail, engineering, and marketing functions Minimum Requirements: •Proficiency in SQL, required for data querying and analysis •Experience with BigQuery or a comparable data warehouse platform such as Snowflake •Familiarity with GA4 or a comparable digital analytics tool, with exposure to sessions, conversions, page views, user flows, and journey analysis •Prior experience as a data analyst on an app-driven project, ideally from concept through launch •Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical teams and senior leadership •Demonstrated ability to work with autonomy in a lean, cross-functional team environment Preferred Qualifications: •Hands-on experience with Heap or comparable site analytics tooling •Background in media, streaming, retail, or experiential/ticketing environments •Exposure to e-commerce analytics, including conversion tracking and store-side performance measurement •Experience building or contributing to digital roadmaps at organizations undergoing digital growth
