Job description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Updating customer price files on a quarterly, and as-needed, basis under the direction of the CFO.
  2. Verify that QAD is updated consistently with product pricing.
  3. Ensure that all raw material and component supplier are maintained by Purchasing.
  4. Review and analyze Capital Expenditure Requests (CER) including financial and operational justification related to new products.ย  Coordinate and lead monthly meetings to review CER status with senior management.
  5. Coordinate with the Quotation Engineers to transition New Product quotations to Engineering and Cost Accounting to complete the development of bills of materials (BOM), routings, standard costs, and MRP data.
  6. Conduct analyses by part, customer and product lines and to make, and support, rational recommendations to improve company profitability.
  7. Maintain, report and analyze inventory balances, including Obsolete and Excess, and calculate turns versus Plan.
  8. Analyze monthly and YTD Sales volumes and report on Volume and Price variances by Customer.
  9. Track raw material purchases to ensure 1) proper pricing from supplier and 2) if appropriate, that customer is charged for premium prices paid.
  10. Coordinate and participate in VAVE meetings.
  11. Special Studies as Required.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelorโ€™s Degree with a concentration in Finance or Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Five to ten years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
  3. Attention to details and strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the operations in a team environment.
  4. Able to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
  5. Strong computer skills. Experience in a systems conversion a plus.
  6. Valid Passport or work VISA. The position is based in Reynosa, MX plant, but may require frequent work in the Mission, TX offices.
  7. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
