Job description

Part-Time Delivery Driver

Pepper Construction Company of Ohio is a Midwest based commercial construction company. We are adding a part-time delivery driver to our exceptional team. You will be joining an organization that has been in business for nearly 100 years with a mission to continuously improve people's quality of life through the built world. We have completed projects including Industrial, K-12 and Higher Education, Corporate Office, Industrial, Healthcare, and Mission Critical just to name a few.

We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused 'been there and done that' construction supply delivery driver.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a wide variety of construction supplies to job sites in the Central Ohio area
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
  • Maintain and build customer relationships with a professional demeanor
  • Possess proven problem-solving solutions to ensure deliveries get completed with timeliness and a customer focus
  • Maintain clean equipment
  • Assist with miscellaneous work needs in the warehouse
  • Other duties, as assigned
Skills
  • Working experience as a Delivery Driver in commercial setting
  • Knowledge and experience in the building materials/construction industry, preferred
  • Valid professional driver's license with clean driving record
  • Class A CDL license
  • General mechanical and maintenance knowledge a plus but not required
  • Reliable and willing to work hard with a professional and courteous attitude
  • Able to lift up to 50lb

All new hires are required to pass a drug screen and background check. This position pays weekly.
