CareRx is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team in delivering safe and effective drug distribution services across multiple facilities. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in areas such as geriatrics, palliative care, and mental health medications. Role Accountabilities: 

  • Assist the Staff Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging and distribution of patient prescriptions 
  • Ensure that all prescriptions are complete and authentic 
  • Gather and ensure completeness of all necessary information,  
  • Confirm data entry accuracy in eMAR and Kroll 
  • Confirm accuracy of pharmaceutical products and ensure final checks are completed for accuracy prior to their release 
  • Ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining confidentiality, adhering to ethical standards, and contributing to a clean pharmacy environment 
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

What You Will Bring to The Team: 

  • Registered and in good standing with the  Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)
  • Knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy systems in a long-term care setting is a strong asset 
  • Retail/Community/ Long Term Care Pharmacy experience strongly preferred 
  • Demonstrated computer or work processing skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
