Job description

Our Client is growing and we are looking to add a Senior Building Automation Service Engineer to the team.

This role is ideal for an experienced BAS professional who enjoys solving complex system issues, working directly with clients, and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.

About Our Client

Our Client is a Boston-based Building Automation service and engineering firm focused on technical excellence and long-term client partnerships.

Controls are their core business. They work with universities, research facilities, healthcare environments, and commercial buildings where reliability and performance matter.

Their work is largely focused on troubleshooting complex systems, improving building performance, and supporting clients over the long term. They take pride in building strong relationships and delivering thoughtful, well-executed solutions.

Just as important, they operate as a team. Their engineers collaborate regularly to solve difficult problems, share knowledge, and support each other in the field. They also make time to connect outside of projects through regular company gatherings and monthly Friday afternoon team lunches, helping maintain the strong culture that has allowed the team to grow together.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of Building Automation field service experience

  • Strong proficiency with Johnson Controls CCT

  • Experience troubleshooting BAS communication networks (BACnet MS/TP & IP)

  • Ability to manage small projects from start to finish

  • Strong HVAC system knowledge and control theory understanding

  • Comfortable communicating directly with clients and project teams
