Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced Java Backend Developers with strong expertise in enterprise application development using Java, Spring Boot, and distributed architectures. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience designing scalable n tier applications, developing REST and SOAP services, integrating enterprise systems using ESBs, and building highly reliable backend solutions. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in Agile development environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java backend applications using Spring Boot and J2EE technologies

Design and implement scalable n tier architectures including presentation, business, and data access layers

Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP based web services

Build enterprise applications for deployment on WebSphere and JBoss application servers

Integrate enterprise applications using DataPower, Mule, or other Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies

Develop comprehensive unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Jest

Design, optimize, and maintain database interactions with Oracle or similar relational databases

Participate in application lifecycle management activities using JIRA and Agile methodologies

Perform code reviews and maintain high quality coding standards

Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective technical solutions

Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and developers throughout the project lifecycle

Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership where required

Required Skills:

Strong experience designing and developing n tier enterprise applications

Expertise with Java and J2EE technologies

Strong experience with Spring MVC

Strong experience with Spring Boot

Experience with Spring Data, Spring Core, and Spring Transaction Management

Strong knowledge of JSP, EJB, Servlets, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, JTA, and Log4J

Experience developing asynchronous Java processes

Experience developing REST and SOAP web services using JAX WS, JAX RS, or Spring Framework

Experience deploying enterprise applications on WebSphere and JBoss

Strong experience with JUnit, Mockito, and Jest

Strong SQL and relational database experience, preferably Oracle

Experience with application lifecycle management tools such as JIRA

Experience integrating systems using DataPower, Mule, or other ESBs

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem solving skills

Self motivated, detail oriented, and collaborative team player

Preferred Skills:

SQL performance tuning and query optimization

Experience writing complex SQL queries using joins and subqueries

Experience troubleshooting SQL performance issues
