What is an after school FDA auditor?

An After School FDA Auditor is a professional responsible for ensuring that after-school programs, particularly those serving food, comply with the standards and regulations set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Their duties typically include inspecting food preparation areas, reviewing documentation, and training staff on food safety protocols. They help maintain high standards of hygiene and safety to protect the health of students. These auditors may work for school districts, government agencies, or third-party organizations that oversee child nutrition programs.
