  • Run cables, place speakers, projectors, screens, and related AV equipment
  • Perform basic equipment testing and verification prior to events
  • Support event logistics and respond to direction from lead technicians on site
  • Load, transport, and unload AV equipment to and from event venues
  • Assist with warehouse prep, equipment organization, and post-event returns

Required Qualifications

  • Some hands-on experience with AV equipment through school programs, certificate training, internships, venue work, or live events
  • Comfort performing physical, hands-on work in event environments
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working variable hours
  • Professional, client-facing demeanor
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to approximately 50 lbs

Schedule & Pay

  • Part-time position
  • Hours vary week to week based on event schedules
  • Evening and weekend availability required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Pay range: $20–$24 per hour, based on experience

Preferred, Not Required

  • AV or event production coursework or certificate
  • Experience with live event load-in and load-out
  • Interest in learning more advanced AV skills over time

Why Work at Davis Audio Visual

  • Hands-on experience in professional live event environments
  • Opportunity to learn from experienced AV technicians
  • Clear expectations and a team-oriented work environment
  • Exposure to corporate meetings, conferences, and professional events
