Eager Enrichment is seeking creative and enthusiastic After-School Art Instructors to lead engaging, hands-on art classes for elementary school students. If you enjoy working with children and have a passion for art, drawing, painting, mixed media, or clay, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while sharing your creativity.


Available Positions (2026-27 School Year)

We are hiring for the following locations:

  • Olentangy/Gahanna: Monday- classes start at 2:35pm; Tuesday-classes start at 2:15pm' & Wednesday-classes start at 3:30pm
  • Dublin: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday- classes start at 3:30pm

Applicants may indicate one or multiple locations of interest.


Schedule & Compensation

Pay is $40 per class for one-hour classes. Paid training will be provided locally in August. Classes are held after school in elementary schools and typically begin at 3:30pm in Olentangy & Dublin; 2:15pm in Gahanna. Programs begin the week of September 15, 2026.


What You'll Do

You'll lead engaging art classes for students in Grades K-4 using lesson plans and materials provided by Eager Enrichment. Projects include drawing, watercolor, collage, mixed media, and clay. Instructors foster creativity, self-expression, and confidence while maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment. Responsibilities also include classroom setup and cleanup, attendance tracking, and communication with staff using mobile applications.


Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in educational, recreational, childcare, camp, volunteer, or similar settings
  • Enthusiastic, dependable, and comfortable leading groups of up to 18 students
  • Available on weekday afternoons during the school year
  • Comfortable using mobile apps for communication and scheduling
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

We provide paid training, ongoing support, and a flexible part-time schedule that works well for college students, substitute teachers, retired educators, artists, and creative professionals.
