Student Affair Liaisons
Strategos Consulting LLC – Stennis Space Center, MS Strategos Consulting is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), which identifies and provides usable solutions (consulting, services, training, and engineering) to the US Government and its partners. Strategos is comprised of professional training and educational specialists that collectively bring over 120 years of experience. In 2009, we created Strategos Training and Services, a professional training company focused on providing services, education, and training to United States military personnel. Strategos Training and Services specializes in non-personal support services, professional instruction, training analysis, training plan development, and curriculum development.
Strategos is seeking a Student Affair Liaisons in pursuit of a government contract.
Performance Location: Stennis Space Center, MS
Hours of Work: Contractors shall work no more than 80 hours over a two-week, which may include weeknights and/or weekends. Standard business hours are 0700-1800. Non-standard work hours may be required to support after hours operations. Position Specific Tasks: • Assist in maintain effective communications with Security Cooperation Offices at U.S. Embassies and Military Departments i.e. NETSAFA/SATFA/AFSAT to facilitate security assistance and security cooperation training. • Assist with assessing International Military Student information prior to student arrival to coordinate with NASA via IdMAX system, and security assistance actions or planning for future events. • Assist with planning and executing student reports, memoranda, and papers as necessary, in a clear, concise, and effective manner to support mission requirements. • Provide accurate and timely centralized pay services in the form of Temporary Living Allowances to International Military Students via NETSAFA and DFAS. • Process a variety of complex pay cases requiring comprehensive review and in-depth research to determine the cause of discrepancies within International Military Students account and corrective action. • Assist verifying Official ID Card Operator - DEERS/RAPIDS. Responsible for accountability, control, verification and issuance of military identification cards and Common Access Cards (CAC) for International Military Students and active-duty military, Reserve and National Guard members, military retirees, family members and dependents, and other eligible recipients. Customer Service skills are a must. The incumbent must be able to pass requirements for Verification Official certification with attendant duties and responsibilities, management of self toward achievement of higher-level objectives, and working reliably with normal supervision. • Controls and issues identification tags and Geneva Convention Cards to military members, deploying civilian employees and other eligible recipients. • Screens Soldiers, family members and dependents for purpose of visit. • Briefs Soldiers and family members on policies and procedures. • Maintains the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and the Real- Time Automated Identification System (RAPIDS). • Performs all ID Card and CAC issuance related tasks including research and review of source documents, verification of eligibility, and discussion of entitlements as defined in AFI 36-3026(I) and the RAPIDS Training Guide. • Issues memorandums of authorization for use of Commissary and Post Exchange to eligible customers, as well as Government ID Cards (DA Form 1602) to eligible Government employees. • Performs routine maintenance on computers and printers, i.e., changes ribbon, adds toner and developer, cleans printers, etc. • Revises and prints correspondence in the proper format under applicable regulations and guidelines and prepares weekly and monthly reports of work and work activities. • Assist with administrative and logistical support for International Military Student Officer (IMSO). This includes direct support of all International Military Students (IMS) in the areas of administration, socialization, cultural enrichment, transportation, recreation, logistical and customer support services for all IMS. • Provides the coordination and support necessary to ensure travel arrangements for IMS. • Assists the International Military Student Officer (IMSO) with student indoctrination and day-to-day operation. • Assists with maintaining the student tracking matrix including berthing assignments for all students. • Ensures students are assigned berthing, necessary transportation, and general student support matters upon arrival, stay and departure. • Coordinates transportation requirements in support of the Field Studies Program (FSP) events. • Required to perform pre-operational maintenance on vehicles, such as cleaning, picking up debris, checking and adding fluids, such as wiper fluid as needed. • Provides Spanish language assistance to facilitate communications during educational and cultural excursions, graduations, official visits, field trips, IMSO Support, airport runs and student indoctrination. • Assist with operating and maintaining the key security program for the barracks. • Assist with ordering all logistical office and barracks supplies.
