Job description

Our client, well-established independent insurance agency serving affluent individuals, families, and businesses throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, is actively recruiting for an experience Personal Lines Account Manager to join their team in Chevy Chase, MD. The firm is known for its consultative approach, strong carrier relationships, and commitment to delivering exceptional client service to high-net-worth clientele. This position will be someone with expertise in High Net Worth (HNW) and Private Client accounts.

They will serve as the primary service contact for an established portfolio of affluent clients, providing proactive risk management guidance, policy servicing, coverage reviews, and renewal management. The ideal candidate is highly client-focused, technically strong in personal insurance products, and comfortable working with complex accounts involving multiple homes, luxury automobiles, collectibles, watercraft, umbrellas, and other specialty exposures. Qualifications: 3+ years of Personal Lines Account Management experience.

Experience servicing High Net Worth or Private Client accounts strongly preferred. Knowledge of carriers such as Chubb, PURE, Cincinnati, AIG Private Client, Travelers Private Client, Berkley One, or similar markets. Strong understanding of homeowners, auto, umbrella, valuable articles, watercraft, and excess liability coverages.

Active Property & Casualty license required. Experience with agency management systems and carrier portals. Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
