Responsibilities of an Expanded Dental Assistant

  • Perform usual and customary duties of an Expanded Dental Assistant.
  • Assist Doctor with placing and finishing down composite and alloy fillings using Matrix Bands/Wedges.
  • Assist Doctor with adjusting dentures, partials, and flippers.
  • Work to help Coordinate patient flow with front and back offices.
  • Answer patient questions and address patient concerns.
  • Restorative Assistant Crown and Bridge
  • Restorative Assistant Amalgam and Composite Fillings
  • Restorative Assistant Full Mouth Rehabs
  • Position Requirements:Minimum qualifications
  • Valid Indiana Radiology License.
  • 2 years of Expanded Functions assisting experience preferred
  • Desire to work in a fast paced, focused environment.
  • Afdent will train those with some expanded experience.
