Aesthetic Registered Nurse Opportunity with Foundation Health

This role requires the Aesthetic Registered Nurse to have their own client list to bring to the clinic. They will have full use of a treatment room, reception and facilities.

Job Description

Aesthetic Registered Nurses provide care to individuals who need assistance as they deal with the effects of aging, injury, surgery, or illness.

As an Aesthetic Nurse, you will:

  • Conduct consultations to assess patient needs and recommend appropriate aesthetic treatments.
  • Administer non-surgical cosmetic procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Neuromodulators (e.g., Botox, Dysport)
    • Dermal fillers
    • Laser treatments (hair removal, skin resurfacing)
    • Microneedling, chemical peels, and skin rejuvenation
    • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
    • Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and professional nursing standards.
    • Manage medical inventory and sterilize equipment as required.
    • Stay updated on the latest aesthetic treatments and industry trends.
    • Provide excellent patient care, ensuring a positive and professional experience.

    Qualifications

    • Have one of the following qualifications:
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BScN)
    • Bachelor of Nursing degree (BN)
    • Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario
    • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) licensed to practice in Ontario (CNO registration required).
    • Additional certification in medical aesthetics (e.g., Botox and filler training) is an asset.
    • Experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, or medical aesthetics preferred.
    • Strong understanding of facial anatomy and injection techniques.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and patient safety.
