Job description

Position Summary

The Aesthetic Nurse Injector is a vital member of our clinical team, responsible for delivering exceptional aesthetic treatments while supporting the physician and clinical staff in providing outstanding patient care. This role requires a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with strong clinical judgment, technical expertise, and an artistic eye for facial aesthetics.

We are primarily seeking a part-time provider; however, full-time employment may be considered for the right candidate based on experience, qualifications, patient demand, and the needs of the practice. We are looking for a motivated provider who is passionate about growing with our practice and building long-term relationships with patients.

The ideal candidate is committed to helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals through safe, evidence-based treatments while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, patient safety, and customer service. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine medical spa services with plastic surgery support in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Aesthetic Patient Care
  • Perform aesthetic injectable treatments including neuromodulators (Botox®, Dysport®, etc.), dermal fillers, PRP, and other approved injectable procedures within the scope of licensure and training.
  • Conduct comprehensive aesthetic consultations, evaluate patient goals, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on available treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, pre-treatment preparation, and post-treatment care.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Monitor patient outcomes and provide appropriate follow-up care to ensure optimal results and patient satisfaction.
Clinical Support
  • Perform clinical duties including suture removal, drain removal, dressing changes, wound care, and other delegated nursing responsibilities under physician supervision.
  • Recognize and appropriately respond to patient concerns, treatment complications, or medical emergencies.
Operations & Patient Experience
  • Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming, compassionate, and professional patient experience.
  • Assist with patient phone calls, scheduling support, follow-up communications, and pre- and post-procedure instructions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and maintaining clinical supplies and injectable products.
  • Ensure exam rooms, treatment rooms, and clinical work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA, HIPAA, and practice policies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, providers, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and continuity of care.
  • Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and training to remain current on aesthetic techniques, products, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of aesthetic injection experience required.
  • Experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, facial plastics, or medical aesthetics preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of facial anatomy, aesthetic assessment, and injectable treatment techniques.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education abilities.
  • Ability to build patient trust and establish long-term patient relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and standard computer applications.
Schedule
  • This position is primarily part-time.
  • Full-time employment may be available for the right candidate based on experience, qualifications, patient demand, and the needs of the practice.
  • Occasional Saturday availability is welcomed but not required. Saturday hours may be available at our Knoxville location based on patient demand and scheduling needs.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to perform precise injectable procedures and other clinical tasks.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and assist with patient positioning when necessary.
Work Environment

This position is performed in a medical office, plastic surgery, and medical spa environment. The employee will regularly interact with patients, physicians, and staff while maintaining strict confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to all safety and infection control protocols.
