To become an aesthetic injector, you typically need to complete a medical or nursing degree, obtain relevant licensure, and receive specialized training in cosmetic injectables such as Botox and dermal fillers. Certification from recognized aesthetic or medical training programs is often required, along with hands-on experience under supervision.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Aesthetic Injector, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Aesthetic Injector, you need a solid background in nursing or medicine (such as RN, NP, PA, or MD credentials) and a deep understanding of facial anatomy. Expertise with injectable products like Botox and dermal fillers, along with certifications in aesthetic procedures and proficiency with documentation systems, is commonly required. Outstanding interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and an artistic eye help build trust and ensure natural-looking outcomes for clients. These abilities are essential for delivering safe, effective treatments and fostering client satisfaction in a competitive, image-focused industry.

They must stay updated on the latest injection techniques and products to minimize risks such as bruising, swelling, or more serious complications. Additionally, clear communication is essential to ensure patients understand potential results and post-procedure care. Collaborating closely with supervising physicians and other medical professionals is also crucial for managing complex cases and maintaining high standards of patient safety and satisfaction.

Job description

Aesthetic Injector โ€” Austin, TX
Build the future of regenerative aesthetics.
At Alive and Well, we believe the future of aesthetics isn't about changing how people look โ€” it's about helping them become the healthiest, most confident version of themselves. We combine functional medicine, regenerative therapies, advanced skincare, and longevity-focused care under one roof, because true beauty starts from within.
We're looking for an experienced Aesthetic Injector who shares that philosophy โ€” and who's ready to help build one of Austin's premier regenerative aesthetic practices, not just step into an existing one.
This is a foundational hire for our Austin location. You'll have real influence over how our injectables program is built, positioned, and grown โ€” backed by a proven model already running in our Dallas location.
About Alive and Well
Alive and Well is an integrative wellness destination where medicine, aesthetics, and hospitality come together. Our clients aren't chasing quick fixes or overdone results โ€” they're investing in long-term health, confidence, and longevity. They value education, prevention, and authentic relationships with providers they trust.
About the Role
As our Aesthetic Injector, you'll partner with clients to build thoughtful, personalized treatment plans that support both immediate goals and long-term skin health. You'll work closely with our estheticians, functional medicine providers, and wellness practitioners to deliver care that goes well beyond a single syringe โ€” and you'll help shape the consultation philosophy, treatment menu, and culture of our growing Austin aesthetics program.
Success in this role looks like:
  • Delivering consistently natural, beautiful results
  • Becoming a trusted advisor clients return to for years
  • Building full-face, long-term treatment plans rather than one-off treatments
  • Growing a loyal client base through your reputation, artistry, and education
  • Collaborating generously with an interdisciplinary team
  • Helping shape and scale the Alive and Well aesthetics program from the ground up
What You'll Do
  • Perform comprehensive facial assessments and develop individualized, long-term treatment plans
  • Safely and skillfully administer neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulators, and other regenerative injectable treatments
  • Educate clients on treatment options, outcomes, skincare, and maintenance
  • Recommend medical-grade skincare and complementary wellness services that enhance results
  • Collaborate with estheticians, functional medicine providers, and wellness practitioners on comprehensive care plans
  • Build lasting client relationships through honest recommendations and thoughtful follow-up
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and uphold all safety and regulatory standards
  • Stay current on techniques, products, and best practices through continuing education
  • Contribute to content, community events, and education that grow the Alive and Well brand
  • Help elevate the team and culture around you
What We're Looking For
Required:
  • Active Texas RN, NP, PA, or Physician license (Esthetician license considered for the right candidate with injecting scope)
  • Minimum 3 years of aesthetic injecting experience
  • Demonstrated expertise with neuromodulators and dermal fillers
  • Strong understanding of facial anatomy and full-face treatment planning
  • An existing client following you can bring with you
  • A conservative, natural-results aesthetic philosophy
  • Excellent consultation, communication, and client education skills
  • Comfortable presenting and selling full-face treatment plans, not just single treatments
  • Confidence working with an elevated clientele in a luxury wellness setting
  • Available to work one weekend day
Preferred:
  • Experience with Sculptra, Radiesse, PRP/PRF, exosomes, or other regenerative treatments
  • Experience with microneedling, energy-based devices, or other complementary procedures
  • Familiarity with functional medicine, hormone optimization, or longevity-focused care
  • Comfort creating educational content for social media and community events
  • A track record of growing a practice through client experience and referrals
Why You'll Love It Here
  • Help build โ€” not just join โ€” Austin's regenerative aesthetics program from an early stage
  • Practice within an innovative, integrative wellness model alongside physicians, functional medicine providers, and wellness experts
  • Work with a clientele that values prevention, education, and natural, long-term results
  • Access to ongoing education, advanced training, and a built-in Dallas training/mentorship pipeline
  • Real room to grow your career and your book of business within a company investing seriously in its future
This is a full-time position based in Austin, Texas.
If you're looking for more than your next injector job โ€” if you want to help define what modern regenerative aesthetics looks like, with the artistry, clinical expertise, and entrepreneurial mindset to match โ€” we'd love to meet you.
Alive and Well is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
