Job description

SkillsetGroup is seeking an Aerospace Assembler to work in the Garden Grove, CA area. The Aerospace Assembler will be responsible for assembling, installing, and fitting aircraft components and structures according to engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures. The ideal candidate will have aerospace or aircraft assembly experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and hands-on experience with rivet guns, drills, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring instruments. This is a Direct Hire opportunity on 1st shift.
Job Title: Aerospace Assembler
Pay: $25-$37.50/hr. DOE
Hours: 1st Shift
1st Shift: Starts at 6:00 AM
Responsibilities
• Assemble aircraft parts, subassemblies, and structures
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and job travelers
• Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, rivet guns, drills, and measuring instruments
• Install hardware such as rivets, fasteners, brackets, nut plates, and fittings
• Perform drilling, countersinking, deburring, sealing, and fastening operations
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring equipment
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements
• Follow aerospace quality standards and safety procedures
• Maintain strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-50 lbs.
• ITAR facility; candidates must qualify as a U.S. Person, such as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
