Pour un de nos client, un manufacturier majeur dans le domaine aéronautique à Montréal, nous recherchons un Spécialiste Thermodynamique.
 Principales responsabilités:
  • Faire des analyses complexes en transfert de chaleur, réseau de tuyauterie,  thermodynamique et en givrage d’avion.
  • Comprendre et interpréter les résultats dans le contexte du design et du dimensionnement approprié d’un avion
  • Préparer des plans d’essais
  • Documenter les analyses et résultats d’essais au sol et en vol
  • Rédiger et mettre à jour les pratiques d’ingénierie du client
Ce que vous apportez:
  • Baccalauréat en génie mécanique ou aéronautique, (incluant des cours ou projets en dynamique des fluides, transfert thermique, givrage en vol et/ou CFD), posséder une maîtrise est un atout.
  • Minimum de 8 à 12 ans d’expérience dans le domaine du transfert de chaleur, thermodynamique, mécanique des fluides et en givrage.
  • Habilités nécessaires pour travailler effectivement dans un environnement collaboratif.
  • Connaissances des logiciels MS Office (incluant une connaissance avancée de Excel)
  • Connaissances de l’utilisation de Siemens Flomaster est un atout.
  • Connaissances avec la programmation (système d’exploitation Unix et les langages de programmation tels que Fortran 77/95, Visual Basic, C++/C# et Python est un atout).
  • Bonne faculté pour les interactions interpersonnelles ainsi que pour les communications orales et écrites.
  • Disponibilité pour des déplacements de courte durée (une à deux semaines).

For one of our clients, a major aerospace manufacturer based in Montreal, we are seeking a Thermodynamics Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex analyses related to heat transfer, piping networks, thermodynamics, and aircraft icing.
  • Understand and interpret results within the context of aircraft design and proper sizing.
  • Develop and prepare test plans.
  • Document analytical studies as well as ground and flight test results.
  • Draft, maintain, and update the client's engineering practices and standards.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering, including coursework or project experience in fluid dynamics, heat transfer, in-flight icing, and/or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). A Master's degree is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and aircraft icing.
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Siemens Flomaster is considered an asset.
  • Programming experience is considered an asset, including familiarity with Unix operating systems and programming languages such as Fortran 77/95, Visual Basic, C++/C#, and Python.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Availability to travel for short-term assignments (one to two weeks).
