Core Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG welding on aerospace parts with occasional MIG, meeting tight tolerances.
  • Translate blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications into accurate weld set-ups and sequences.
  • Inspect and test welds to confirm compliance with industry standards and part specifications.
  • Keep the work area safe, clean, and audit-ready at all times.
  • Partner with engineers and peers to troubleshoot and resolve weld-related issues.
  • Accurately document work performed and maintain complete records.
  • Continuously refine welding skills and deepen knowledge of aerospace materials.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred.
  • Demonstrated welding experience in aerospace or a related precision-manufacturing field.
  • Strong understanding of welding processes, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Fluent in blueprint and technical drawing interpretation.
