What You Will Do:

  • Lead the development, documentation, and execution of the program’s Integration, Verification, and Validation (IVV) strategy.

  • Coordinate IVV planning and execution across systems engineering, software, hardware, test engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.

  • Ensure all product requirements—technical, functional, and performance—are fully verified and validated against customer expectations.

  • Develop IVV plans, processes, procedures, and test cases in alignment with program schedules and milestones.

  • Oversee the integration of system components and manage resolution of integration-related issues.

  • Ensure all verification activities have clear traceability to requirements via the program’s requirements management tools.

  • Track IVV progress, risks, and technical issues; provide regular status updates to program leadership.

  • Collaborate with customer representatives during formal verification events, audits, and acceptance testing.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members supporting IVV tasks.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives in IVV methods, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Extensive experience in system integration, verification, and validation activities within a complex engineering environment.

  • Experience with leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

  • Experience with systems development lifecycle and requirements management.

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience with DO-178, DO-254, AS9100, or similar aerospace/defense compliance frameworks.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, DOORS, or equivalent requirements/test management platforms.

  • Prior leadership experience in a technical or engineering program role.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
