Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Quality Inspector to oversee quality assurance and control processes within our aerospace manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with ISO 9001 compliance standards while leading quality inspections and audits. This role requires strong analysis skills, attention to detail, and expertise in utilizing precision measuring instruments and vision inspection systems to maintain the highest quality standards in aerospace components.

Duties

  • Lead and coordinate quality inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify dimensional accuracy and surface integrity.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) aligned with industry standards and company policies.
  • Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for process improvement.
  • Oversee calibration and maintenance of precision measuring instruments to ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Train and supervise inspection team members on proper inspection techniques, use of inspection equipment, and adherence to quality protocols.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
