Manufacturing Technician 2 - Hanover, MD
About the Role
Join Indotronix as a Manufacturing Technician 2 and be a vital part of our high-performance team in Hanover, MD. In this hands-on, onsite role, you'll work closely with engineers and technicians, contributing to the production of advanced aerospace components. This contract position offers the opportunity to develop specialized skills in honeycomb panel fabrication and mechanical assembly, with exposure to innovative manufacturing technologies and a collaborative work culture.
Responsibilities
- Perform all manufacturing operations including set-up, calibration, mechanical assembly, and rework of parts and subassemblies
- Work directly with engineers to conduct experiments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure product quality
- Utilize advanced programs to collect data and make real-time adjustments to instruments or equipment
- Assist in developing and refining manufacturing processes and procedures for enhanced efficiency
- Interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions to meet build requirements
- Operate hand and power tools for processing metals, composites, and wood materials
- Maintain strict safety standards and comply with workplace safety protocols
Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years' experience in honeycomb panel fabrication or aerospace mechanical assembly
