Job description

???? Now Hiring: Senior Manufacturing Engineer | Aerospace & Defense | Phoenix, AZ ????

I'm partnering with an innovative aerospace & defense manufacturer that's looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to play a critical role in bridging engineering and production.

This isn't a role where you'll be sitting behind a desk all day. They're looking for someone who enjoys getting out on the shop floor, solving manufacturing challenges, working with suppliers, and influencing product designs before they ever hit production.

In this role, you'll:

✅ Drive production support and manufacturing improvements

✅ Partner with suppliers and conduct vendor visits

✅ Review drawings, GD&T, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)

✅ Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input on new designs

✅ Work with machining, castings, forgings, sheet metal, heat treat, and other aerospace manufacturing processes

✅ Help keep design engineers focused on innovation by owning manufacturing challenges

What they're looking for:

• Strong GD&T experience (must-have)

• Aerospace or defense manufacturing background

• Experience supporting machining and complex manufacturing processes

• Supplier development or manufacturing process improvement experience

• Someone who is self-motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys taking ownership

This is an opportunity to make a real impact with a growing engineering team where your ideas and expertise will directly influence both manufacturing and product development.

If you—or someone in your network—has a background in aerospace manufacturing engineering and is open to learning more, send me a message or comment below. I'd be happy to share additional details.
