As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.10 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. * Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, maintain visitor logs, and issue or retrieve access badges in accordance with established procedures. * Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, materials, and packages as directed, helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. * Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and documenting observations. Minimum Requirements: * Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience. * Be at least 21 years of age. * Alarm panel experience is preferred. * A guard card or license is preferred. * Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
