Job description

PPG's Aerospace Business has a hybrid Aerospace Business Specialist / Accounts Receivable position available (in office Monday - Thursday, work from home Fridays if work allows). You will support the corporate Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. You will also process credits, close applicable tickets, maintain, and update customer AR contacts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support corporate Accounts Receivable (AR) function by providing documentation, researching AR discrepancies, determining root causes
  • Submit invoice copies to various customer portals
  • Process credits and close applicable tickets
  • Maintain and update customer AR contacts
  • Effectively complete daily tasks to ensure that the Aerospace Business Solutions group achieves their primary goals and established KPIs related to accounts receivable functions
  • Ensures good working relationships are being maintained and responses are being made promptly to all requests to minimize delays in accounts receivable collections
  • Utilize software i.e., QAD, Oracle, Client link, Laserfiche, Excel, various customer portals
  • Process internal export sales orders
  • Review and upload of applicable export documentation, ensuring compliance with international regulations
  • Remain knowledgeable of regulations related to international orders and changes that impact processes
  • Responsible for obtaining late order information and notifying customers of any delays with their orders
  • Must keep appropriate stakeholders abreast of the problems/solutions pertaining to the customer and achievement of KPIs

Qualifications
  • Only US Citizens, Green Card holders, political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of Customer Service experience required
  • Business to business (B2B) customer service or manufacturing industry preferred
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient technology skills including Microsoft Office suite
