Aem Analytics information

What is AEM Analytics?

AEM Analytics refers to the integration of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) with Adobe Analytics, allowing businesses to track, analyze, and optimize user experiences on their digital properties. By combining these tools, organizations can gain insights into user behavior, content performance, and conversion rates directly within AEM. This integration enables marketers and content authors to make data-driven decisions for improving website effectiveness and personalization. It also streamlines reporting and helps align content strategy with business goals.

How does an AEM Analytics professional typically collaborate with marketing and development teams?

AEM Analytics professionals often act as a bridge between marketing teams, who define business goals and KPIs, and development teams, who implement tracking solutions within Adobe Experience Manager. They participate in cross-functional meetings to gather requirements, configure analytics tools, and ensure accurate data collection. Regular collaboration ensures that analytics implementations align with campaign objectives and technical capabilities, enabling actionable insights and continuous optimization. Open communication and a strong understanding of both technical and business perspectives are essential for success in this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an AEM Analytics specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as an AEM Analytics Specialist, you need expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), web analytics, data analysis, and a background in digital marketing or computer science. Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, tag management systems, and relevant certifications such as Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) are typically required. Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication skills set top candidates apart in this role. These capabilities ensure accurate data collection, insightful analysis, and the ability to drive data-informed decisions that optimize digital experiences.

Job description

Commodity Engineer #1062579
Position Description:
Our Company is seeking a skilled AEM Developer to help transform our digital properties into modern, engaging customer experiences. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions that power some of our web platforms. You'll work alongside architects, UX/UI designers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver scalable, high-performing, and secure applications that support our global digital ecosystem. This is an opportunity to build meaningful, high-impact software at scale while growing your expertise across the full AEM stack - from component and template development to cloud deployment.

  • AEM Development:
    • Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and content fragments that support scalable, reusable digital experiences
    • Build and support AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) implementation, including authoring, publishing, and dispatcher configurations
    • Develop and maintain the Digital Asset Management (DAM) repository, including metadata schemas, folder structures, and asset governance
    • Configure and maintain Blueprints, Live Copies, and Rollout Configurations to ensure content consistency across multi-site environments
    • Build responsive, high-performance front-end experiences using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Angular
    • Develop backend services and integrations using Java, Sling, and OSGi, including REST/API integrations with third-party systems
    • Write clean, scalable, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews
    • Partner with UX/UI designers, business analysts, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement) and manage work through tools such as JIRA and Confluence
    • Create and maintain clear technical documentation and specifications
    • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with a focus on stability and continuous improvement.
    • Troubleshoot indexing failures, data sync issues, and search relevance problems across environments
    • Collaborate with architects to evaluate and evolve search architecture as content volume and site footprint grow
  • DevOps & Cloud:
    • Support and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
    • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
    • Apply best practices for security, accessibility, and performance across all deliverables

Skills Required:
  • Java, Apache Sling, JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML5, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), Adobe Suite

Skills Preferred:
  • Elasticsearch

Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in AEM development, including components, templates, workflows, and DAM
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework (React or Angular)
  • Experience with Java, Sling, and OSGi in an AEM context
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams

Experience Preferred:
  • Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
  • Experience with DevOps tools and processes, such as Git, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Familiarity with microservices or service-oriented architecture
  • Curiosity and hands-on experience using AI tools to support development, testing, or content workflows
  • Adobe AEM certification(s)
  • Experience with Elasticsearch and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-based search models.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Agentic AI solutions for automated code reviews.

Education Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree
