Key Responsibilities Client Engagement Leadership
  • Plan, supervise, and complete multiple client engagements
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients
  • Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Monitor realization and profitability of engagements
  • Communicate proactively regarding engagement status and scope changes
Tax & Advisory Services
  • Review individual, partnership, S-corporation, C-corporation, trust, and estate tax returns
  • Perform technical tax research and document conclusions
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and advisory recommendations
  • Assist with IRS and state tax notices and examinations
  • Provide proactive business and tax guidance to clients
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Anticipate client needs and provide year-round support
  • Identify opportunities for additional services
  • Deliver exceptional client service and responsiveness
  • Assist with client onboarding and relationship expansion
Leadership & Staff Development
  • Supervise Staff Accountants, Senior Accountants, and other team members
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retention initiatives

Practice Growth
  • Participate in networking and business development activities
  • Support proposal development and new client opportunities

Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Accounting Certificate
  • 5-7 years of public accounting experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of tax, accounting, and advisory services
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred
  • CPA or EA license
  • Management experience
  • Business advisory experience
  • Experience reviewing complex tax returns
  • Financial forecasting and budgeting experience
