Advertising Project Managers are professionals who oversee and coordinate advertising campaigns from conception to completion. They act as the main point of contact between clients, creative teams, and media vendors, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the client’s objectives. Their responsibilities include scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and managing communication among all stakeholders. They play a crucial role in ensuring that advertising campaigns run smoothly and achieve their desired results.

How does an advertising project manager typically collaborate with creative and account teams during a campaign?

Job description

As an Account Supervisor at SixSpeed, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, overseeing account performance, and guiding your project teams toward success. You will serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, ensuring strategies are translated into actionable plans and executed with excellence. In this role, you'll balance strategic thinking with hands-on management - mentoring Account Executives and Coordinators, managing budgets and forecasts, and helping clients see SixSpeed as an extension of their own team. We're looking for a confident, grounded leader who can bring clarity, direction, and energy to both clients and colleagues.

THE TASK AT HAND

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships at the mid-to-senior level, serving as their trusted partner
  • Lead and mentor Account Executives and Coordinators, supporting their growth and ensuring team success
  • Oversee the execution of integrated projects and campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and above expectations
  • Manage client budgets, forecasts, and overall account profitability with accuracy and accountability
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively provide solutions that drive business growth
  • Guide the development of proposals, scopes of work, estimates, and client presentations
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align creative solutions with client KPIs and business goals
  • Contribute to new business development through organic growth within accounts and participation in agency pitches
  • Share knowledge of client business and industry trends across teams to ensure collective alignment and informed decision-making

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of account management experience within a marketing, advertising, or agency environment
  • Proven experience managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously with a high level of organization
  • Strong communicator and negotiator who builds trust and credibility with clients and teams
  • Skilled in financial management, including forecasting, budgeting, and profitability oversight
  • A collaborative leader who leads by example, mentors team members, and fosters professional growth
  • A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to connect big-picture vision with executional detail
  • Passionate about building brands, identifying opportunities, and delivering meaningful business results
  • Comfortable navigating challenges with confidence, composure, and a solutions-first mindset
  • Have experience managing Marketing Campaigns, Content, Experiences, and Media
  • A hungry and curious person, unafraid to try new things in pursuit of growth
  • Brings a point of view to the work alongside Strategy and Creative counterparts with the goal of delivering the highest quality final product possible
WHO WE ARE

To be what others can't, you have to do what they won't. We are SixSpeed, a full-service advertising agency that is employee-owned, audience-first, and built to deliver big ideas at speed. We're here to make the world's most adventurous brands impossible to imitate.

This role offers a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications as they relate to the requirements of the position.
