Lee Enterprises is seeking a Project Manager to support the planning and delivery of initiatives that align with key business and product priorities. This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining visibility into progress, and helping teams deliver successful outcomes from kickoff through implementation and adoption.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping stakeholders informed and projects moving forward.
What You'll Do
Project Planning & Delivery
  • Support the planning and execution of technology projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and action items
  • Track project progress and help ensure deliverables are completed on time
  • Escalate potential risks, issues, or delays to project leadership when appropriate

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to support project execution
  • Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and communication across project teams
  • Assist with managing dependencies and ensuring alignment across workstreams
  • Work with internal teams and external vendors to support project deliverables

Risk & Issue Management
  • Track project risks, issues, and dependencies and help maintain mitigation plans
  • Ensure action items are documented, assigned, and followed through to completion
  • Support project governance activities, including status reporting and decision documentation

Communication & Reporting
  • Prepare project status updates and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Maintain project documentation and meeting notes
  • Ensure stakeholders have clear visibility into project timelines, milestones, and next steps

Deployment & Business Readiness
  • Support go-live planning and coordination activities

What You Bring
  • 2+ years of project management, project coordination, or related experience
  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects in a technology, digital, or business environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or traditional project environments
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
