Job description

Responsibilities

At Brasfield & Gorrie, our purpose is building exceptional people, trusting relationships, great projects, and strong communities. We are one of the most respected and dynamic construction firms in the nation — and our Marketing & Communications team works at the center of it all.

We're looking for an Assistant Brand Strategy Coordinator who is equal parts creative thinker and organized executor. This role is for someone who can read a room, identify what's needed, and make it happen — whether that's shaping a piece of content, keeping a complex project on track, or stepping in to enable the team to do its best work.

You'll touch a wide range of work: brand and content strategy, digital platforms, communications, event production, vendor relationships, and more. If you're energized by variety, take pride in craft, and know how to juggle without dropping anything, this role was built for you.
Production & Program Enablement

You're a producer at heart — you make things happen. You anticipate what the team needs, prepare materials before they're asked for, and step in wherever there's a gap. You treat no task as beneath you if it keeps important work moving forward.
Content Creation & Storytelling

You write clearly, edit carefully, and understand how words and visuals work together. You'll produce content across internal and external channels — from newsletters and campaign copy to presentations and award submissions — always with an eye toward brand voice and audience.
Visual Sensibility & Digital Platforms

You don't need to be a designer, but you think visually. You understand layout, hierarchy, and what makes something look considered versus cobbled together. You're comfortable working in tools like Canva and are willing to learn your way around a CMS like WordPress.
Media & Advertising Support

You have a basic understanding of how paid media works — or you're ready to learn. You'll help coordinate ad placements and manage logistics with publication partners, keeping timelines and specs organized and submissions on time.
Initiatives

You help plan and execute events that bring people together — from quarterly team outings to the annual department retreat — with attention to detail and a hospitality mindset.
