Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Breakthrough is seeking a Summer 2027 intern for the Marketing team. This internship will provide direct exposure to B2B marketing as the intern assists in Breakthrough's day-to-day marketing operations, works on a strategic project to elevate our brand position, and develops valuable, forward-thinking content for use in establishing brand awareness and generating sales qualified leads.
U.S. Venture's Internship Program runs May - August 2027. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position will be located at the Breakthrough Office in Green Bay, WI.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the team with various marketing activities such as social media, website analytics, and advertising.

  • Copywriting for various content pieces such as digital advertising, the Breakthrough blog, conference collateral, infographics, email marketing, and other miscellaneous marketing materials.

  • Assist with planning and executing Breakthrough's annual client event, The Mercury Group.

  • Assist with planning and executing Breakthrough team events.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • Team player with an innovative, creative, and data-driven approach to work.
  • Self-motivation and intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Heightened attention to detail.
