About the Role:ย 

Adventure Center Coaches lead and disciple children in a safe, fun, and meaningful manner.ย 

  • After-school, Monday - Friday, apx. 2:00 PM - 6:30 PM, hours vary on school breaks and in the summer
  • Multiple locations in Cobb County
  • Current openings start on apx. July 29, 2026


Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manages classroom activities.
  • Develops and maintains a classroom schedule.
  • Includes meaningful activities in each aspect of the day.
  • Assumes responsibility for the implementation of effective ministry in and out of the classroom.
  • Delivers enrichment and Bible-based curriculum which includes instruction and activities that promote evangelism and discipleship.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with students, parents, greater Mission 1:27 team, Walton Communities team members and residents.
  • As an ambassador of Mission 1:27 and Walton Communities, models Christ-like behavior in all circumstances with students, parents, colleagues, Walton team members and residents and members of the community at large.
  • Fully utilizes the provided enrichment curriculum.
  • Ensures that Adventure Center facilities are secure, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Ensures compliance with Mission 1:27's policies, including the Child Safety and Protection Policy and all child protection laws and regulations.
  • Participates in regular times of prayer with Center staff and attends staff meetings.
  • Adheres to uniform requirements.
  • Works under the Center Director's guidance and leadership in all areas.
  • Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
