Job Description
Adventist Health Hanford Hospital is actively seeking a mission-minded Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join its team in Hanford, CA.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to practice in a Gastroenterology Center. This center has state-of-the-art equipment, three pre-operative bays, 2 GI suites where colonoscopies and EGDs are performed, one procedure room where manometry and Pillcam procedures take place, and 5 post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) recovery bays. This one-stop-shop for Gastroenterology opened at the end of 2020.

The Adventist Health Hanford Outpatient Service Gastrointestinal center is the first of its kind in Kings and Tulare counties, offering care for heartburn, swallowing difficulties, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), bloating and more. Lab and Imaging services are on the same floor, so patients do not have to leave the building.

Both experienced providers and new grads are encouraged to apply, although candidates must be comfortable with procedures and seeing patients in the clinic. ERCP is a plus but not required.

Our Central Valley Network operates in more than 60 sites across 5 counties. The network owns and operates four medical centers, including Adventist Health Hanford. Through our medical centers and offices, the Central Valley Network helps over a million patients a year.
Hanford is a growing town- with a low cost of living- that is located in the heart of California. Only 45 min south of Fresno and an international airport, this bustling town is nestled between 2 national parks and California's beautiful coastline. It is ideally located just 3 hours from Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The incoming physician must be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital's medical staff credentialing standard.
