Job description

The Tree Climber plays a crucial role within a small team, providing expert care for residential trees and responding to emergency storm situations. This position involves using advanced climbing and rigging equipment to safely access and manage trees. The role offers opportunities for growth into senior climber and arborist positions, supported by certification training.


PAY

No Experience: Starting $28/hr

With Experience: Starting $40/hr

Overtime Available

Responsibilities

  • Climb trees using standard and advanced rigging equipment
  • Maintain climbing tools and motorized equipment such as chainsaws
  • Perform tree pruning and care for residential clients
  • Respond to emergency storm-related tree care needs
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols while working at heights

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in arboriculture
  • Proficiency in tree climbing techniques and chainsaw operation
  • Strong attention to safety procedures
  • Effective communication within a team environment
