As a solution architect on our team, you'll translate your customer's IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting complex IT solutions. Through your leadership, we'll help transform the way the Army uses technology, including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems. And what do you do next in a career where you've reached this level? You mentor the next set of developers to help them grow into tomorrow's solutions architects. You Have:
  • 4+ years of experience working with cloud computing platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience designing large-scale enterprise solutions, integrating disparate technologies, and implementing security controls
  • Experience implementing solutions using modern system architecture principles, including microservices
  • Experience modernizing enterprise software delivery in support of digital transformation
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience working closely with software development teams
  • Experience with project, task, and team leadership
  • Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods
  • Experience evaluating architectural tradeoffs and designing robust service-based software applications for scalable enterprise production use
  • Experience with full-stack development in a professional environment for enterprise production capabilities
  • Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
