These competencies ensure APPs provide high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care in diverse healthcare settings.

What is an advanced practice provider (APP)?

An Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a healthcare professional who has completed advanced education and clinical training beyond that of a registered nurse. APPs typically include nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), clinical nurse specialists, and certified nurse midwives.
