Advanced Practice Clinician โ€“ PART-TIME โ€“ NO OVERNIGHTS โ€“ NO HOLIDAYS

Part time or PRN APCs sought for provision of Medical Abortion and related care in patient centered office practice. Hours available on Monday, Wednesday and a possible additional weekday and Saturdays.

Cherry Hill Womenโ€™s Center, a state licensed ambulatory surgical center that has delivered excellence in abortion care for over 50 years, always at the forefront of best practices in our field. Our team members are committed to advocating and caring for people seeking legal, safe, compassionate and respectful abortion care through 28 weeks of pregnancy, in addition to assistance for adoption services and prenatal care.

Our office practice provides medication abortion, 1st trimester procedural abortion and contraception. The ideal candidate can work independently and enjoys working collaboratively with a small team to provide exceptional, compassionate, and respectful care to all people seeking our services.

The APC works independently and have a collaborating agreement with a physician who is available for consult and referral.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or Certified Nurse Midwife License in New Jersey.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an APC.
  • Experience providing Medication Abortion.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in use of electronic health records.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proficient in 1 st trimester procedural abortion.
  • Bi or multilingual.
  • Experience providing LARC.

Responsibilities include:

  • Pre-procedure medical assessment
  • Support patients in their psychosocial needsPlay lead role in complex clinical situations
