Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Manufacturing Functional Consultant to support our organization's NetSuite ERP system across various departments, including Finance, Procurement & Purchasing, Manufacturing, MRP, and others. This role is ideal for a consultant who thrives in a post-implementation support environment - troubleshooting issues, training end users, and continuously improving system performance as the organization matures on the platform. This position requires relocation to and full-time on-site presence in Midland, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary functional point of contact for NetSuite ERP/CRM across various departments, including Finance, Procurement & Purchasing, Manufacturing, MRP, and others, including post-go-live support.
  • Provide day-to-day help desk-style support: troubleshooting user issues, resolving tickets, and ensuring smooth system adoption following implementation.
  • Lead solution design and delivery across Manufacturing, Advanced Manufacturing, MRP, BOMs & Routings, Inventory, and Warehouse Management (WMS).
  • Design, build, and maintain Saved Searches, Reports, and Executive Dashboards to meet client reporting and operational needs.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable NetSuite configurations.
  • Support order-to-cash (O2C), procure-to-pay (P2P), and record-to-report (R2R) processes as they relate to manufacturing operations.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex issues, coordinating with technical teams on SuiteScript, workflow, and integration troubleshooting as needed.
  • Deliver end-user training and documentation, supporting client teams in building long-term NetSuite proficiency.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and release testing for system enhancements.
  • Maintain a strong customer-service orientation, building trusted, long-term relationships with stakeholders across departments.

Required Certifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite functional consulting experience, including direct client-facing work.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Managed Services or post-implementation support capacity, supporting multiple business functions or departments concurrently.
  • Strong functional knowledge of NetSuite Manufacturing, including Advanced Manufacturing, MRP, BOMs & Routings, and WMS.
  • Experience with NetSuite OneWorld, SuiteSuccess, and multi-subsidiary environments.
  • Proficiency building Saved Searches, custom Reports, and Executive Dashboards.
  • Solid understanding of the NetSuite data model, roles, and permissions.
  • Excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine training/customer-service orientation when working with end users.
  • Willingness and ability to relocate to and work on-site in Midland, Texas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NetSuite certifications (e.g., Suite Foundation, Administrator, Financial User) or equivalent NetSuite Certified Consultant credentials.
  • Prior experience training staff or new consultants on NetSuite functionality.
  • Exposure to SuiteScript (1.0/2.x) sufficient to support root-cause discussions with technical teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Location and Relocation

This role is based on-site in Midland, Texas, and requires relocation for candidates not already local. Relocation assistance details will be discussed during the offer process. Note for hiring team: candidates willing to relocate to Midland are limited, so relocation flexibility should be weighted heavily as a differentiator among otherwise comparable functional candidates.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
  • Relocation support for the successful candidate.
  • Opportunity to own NetSuite support across the organization and grow into a senior/principal consulting role.
  • Collaborative, supportive team culture with an emphasis on client success and professional development.
