Job Summary:

This position involves assembling and testing medium to low complexity electro-mechanical devices using hand tools, adhesives, and testing equipment while following detailed procedures and Quality standards. The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, effective communication, and at least one year of relevant manufacturing or production experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Read, follow, and explain the procedures being used.
  • Fill out Quality forms and assembly records.
  • Use a variety of hand tools and modest equipment.
  • Understand quality control and able to recognize defects.
  • Communicate effectively with supervision and engineering.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.

Experience Requirements:

  • General mechanical aptitude and dexterity (ability to use small tools in tight spaces).
  • Proficiency with small hand tools, torque drivers, UV curing equipment, dispensers, press fixtures and computers.
  • Ability to use computers to test devices.
  • Manual dexterity for moderately fine adhesive dispensing.
  • Able to understand and complete paperwork correctly.
  • The ability to stand or sit while working for extended periods.
  • The ability to read and speak English.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
  • Capacity to lift and carry up to [25–50] pounds as required.
  • Comfort with performing repetitive physical tasks.
  • Able to bend, reach, stoop, or climb as needed.
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., noise, temperature, equipment).
  • Proficiency in operating tools, machinery, or technical equipment.
  • Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required.

Targeted Salary Range: $22 - $23/hour
